Birch Tree Golf Course has been a part of New Carlisle for decades. Established in the 60's, it's had a handful of names and a few different owners. Nonetheless it's been a home course for many locals and holds fun and fond memories for so many people.

After being closed for 8 years, George and Sharon Petersen along with son, Josh Cooper, the efforts of Kregg Keigley and the support of family, friends and George's best friend, Chase, "PooPoo Head", we were able to reopen the course in the late summer of 2018. With years of hard work rebuilding greens, tee boxes and irrigation while operating the restaurant, they were able to finally start with a "soft" opening. It's going to be a work in progress for awhile, but golfers will see continual improvements on and off the course. Despite the challenges faced in 2020, we seized the opportunity to make lemonade from lemons and remodeled the dining room and bar during the Covid 19 shutdown. We can't wait for everyone to see and enjoy the improvements! This is our way of showing love and appreciation for our town and guests. Thank you. We hope you enjoy your time with us.
